Peggy has worked as a professional MC and presenter since 2015. She’s been a long-standing MC for Sofar Sounds London, having represented the company at over 100 shows including Citadel and Wilderness festival two years running and has ran workshops for new MC’s. It was here that she introduced to the stage the likes of The Magic Gang, KT Tunstall, Francobollo, Strong Asian Mothers and LAUREL.
She also promoted and subsequently presented monthly gig nights at The Old Blue Last and Colours Hoxton (fka Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen) for three years, as well as taking to stages at The Alternative Escape, Standon Calling Festival, Trunchonbury Festival, The Green Door Store, The Mesmerist, The Queen of Hoxton, Birthdays, Patterns, The Camden Monarch, The Seven Stars and The Richmond.
She’s was the resident presenter for Balcony TV Brighton and host of an online new music show ‘Peggy’s World’ in collaboration with Soapbox and QM Records. This show saw her backstage at WOMAD and Trunchonbury Festival, and interviewing artists such as Zak Abel, Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn, House Gospel Choir, Nubiyan Twist, Dub Pistols and Normanton Street.
